HOLD^DAX

The bullish breakout remains intact above the prior-week high and all cited moving averages. The stop at 26180 already protects a gain and sits below current price by about 0.61 hourly ATR; despite elevated RSI and the opening rejection, there is not enough deterioration to tighten further or close.

HOLDEURUSD

EURUSD remains above its 20-hour, 50-hour, 50-day, and 200-day averages with positive 24-hour and 7-day momentum. The existing stop keeps risk very small, while nearby prior-week resistance and upcoming USD data argue against adding exposure or changing the position.

UPDATE^DAX

Raise the stop from 25940 to 26180 to protect part of the open gain. DAX remains above the prior-week high and major moving averages, but elevated RSI and the retreat from the opening high increase pullback risk. The new stop remains below the prior-day breakout level by roughly one hourly ATR, allowing a normal retest while exiting if the breakout materially fails.

HOLDEURUSD

EURUSD remains above its 20-hour, 50-hour, 50-day, and 200-day averages with positive 24-hour and 7-day momentum. The existing stop keeps risk small, while nearby prior-week resistance and upcoming US data argue against increasing exposure or tightening the position prematurely.

HOLD^DAX

The breakout thesis remains intact above the prior-week high and all cited moving averages, with the existing stop and target bounding risk. The European session is closed and data are stale-market-closed, so elevated daily RSI and the lack of a fresh price do not justify a change.

HOLDEURUSD

EURUSD remains above its 20-hour, 50-hour, 50-day, and 200-day averages with positive 24-hour and 7-day momentum, while lower US yields support the long thesis. The existing stop appropriately bounds risk; subdued hourly movement, nearby prior-week resistance, and upcoming USD events argue against adjustment or additional exposure.

HOLD^DAX

The breakout thesis remains intact above the prior-week high and all cited moving averages, with the existing stop and target bounding risk. The European session is closed and market data are stale-market-closed, so no change is justified despite elevated daily RSI.

HOLDEURUSD

EURUSD remains above its 20-hour, 50-hour, 50-day, and 200-day averages with positive 24-hour and 7-day momentum. Falling US yields continue to support the long thesis, while the existing stop bounds risk. Nearby prior-week resistance and later USD events argue against adding exposure or changing the position.

HOLD^DAX

The bullish breakout remains intact above the prior-week high and the 20-hour, 50-hour, 50-day, and 200-day averages. The existing stop and target keep risk bounded. Because the European session is closed, data are stale-market-closed, and daily RSI is above 70, no position change is justified.

HOLDEURUSD

EURUSD remains above all cited short- and long-term averages with positive 1-hour, 24-hour, and 7-day returns, while falling US yields support the long thesis. The existing stop bounds downside. Prior-week resistance and upcoming USD events argue against adding exposure or tightening the stop prematurely.

HOLD^DAX

The bullish breakout remains intact above the prior-week high and the 20-hour, 50-hour, 50-day, and 200-day averages. The existing stop and target keep risk bounded. With the European session closed, stale-market-closed data, and daily RSI above 70, neither an execution-dependent change nor added exposure is justified.

HOLDEURUSD

EURUSD remains above its 20-hour, 50-hour, 50-day, and 200-day averages with positive 1-hour, 24-hour, and 7-day returns. Falling US yields continue to support the long thesis, while the existing stop bounds risk. Nearby prior-week resistance and upcoming USD events argue against increasing exposure or tightening the stop prematurely.

2026-08-19 20:00 UTCSUCCESSConfiance 62%

HOLD^CAC

Price 8406.06 remains above the 8380 stop (0.31% distance, 0.95x 1h ATR) and above 1h SMA20/50 (8376.29/8373.88) and daily SMA50/200 (8309.32/8179.21); thesis intact, position +80.26 unrealized. VIX has climbed further to 18.67 (session +5.96%) but still has not breached the stated 20 risk-off invalidation trigger, even as US equities stay soft (Nasdaq -1.31% session, RSI 39.02; S&P -0.68% session, RSI 45.07) and oil keeps selling off hard (-4.8% session/-8.32% 24h). This risk-off stress has not broken the CAC itself, and the CAC cash session is closed until 2026-07-28T07:02 UTC so no execution changes matter until reopen anyway. The stop already sits under 1x ATR below spot from prior trailing, so tightening further risks a premature stop-out on overnight noise before a confirmed VIX breach of 20. Keeping stop 8380 / target 8550 unchanged.

OPENEURUSD

Opening a conservatively sized short to capture the emerging USD-strength/risk-off flow across equities, oil and volatility while EURUSD sits below all key moving averages with room before oversold; also serves as a partial hedge against the existing risk-on CAC long.

HOLD^CAC

CAC cash session is closed until 2026-07-28T07:02 UTC so no execution is possible regardless. Price 8406.06 remains above the 8380 stop (0.31% distance, 0.95x 1h ATR) and above 1h SMA20/50 (8376.29/8373.88) and daily SMA50/200 (8309.32/8179.21); thesis intact, position +80.26 unrealized. VIX has actually eased to 18.81 (down from a 19.91 intraday peak seen in prior cycles) and remains below the 20 risk-off invalidation trigger, even though US equities are still soft (Nasdaq -1.31% session, RSI 40.59; S&P -0.68% session, RSI 46.71, both off their oversold extremes) and oil is selling off hard (-4.71% session/-8.22% 24h). The session's day range (8402.81-8463.71) shows price near the session low after a pullback from intraday highs, but no hard technical break or VIX confirmation above 20 has occurred, and the stop is already close (under 1x ATR) to spot, so tightening further risks a premature stop-out on overnight noise. Keeping stop 8380 / target 8550 unchanged.

HOLD^CAC

Price 8406.06 remains above the 8380 trailing stop (0.95x 1h ATR of room, 0.31% distance) and above 1h SMA20/50 (8376.29/8373.88) and daily SMA50/200 (8309.32/8179.21); thesis intact. CAC cash session is closed until 2026-07-28T07:02 UTC so no execution is possible regardless. VIX has pushed further to 19.27 (session +9.36%) but still has not breached the stated 20 risk-off invalidation trigger, even as US equities extend their selloff (Nasdaq -1.37% session, RSI 33.09 oversold; S&P -0.69% session, RSI 40.72) and oil is down sharply (-4.39% session, -7.78% 24h) following a Trump speech 12 minutes ago. This broad risk-off impulse has not yet hit the CAC itself and the stop already sits near 1x ATR below spot from the prior trail, so tightening further here risks a premature stop-out on overnight gap noise before a confirmed VIX breach of 20 or a technical break on the CAC. Keeping stop 8380 / target 8550 unchanged.

HOLD^CAC

Price 8406.06 remains above the 8380 trailing stop (0.95x 1h ATR of room, 0.31% distance) and above 1h SMA20/50 (8376.29/8373.88) and daily SMA50/200 (8309.32/8179.21); thesis intact. CAC cash session is now closed until 2026-07-28T07:02 UTC so no execution is possible regardless. VIX has ticked up further to 19.43 (session +10.27%) but still has not breached the stated 20 risk-off invalidation trigger, even as US equities extend their selloff (Nasdaq -1.62% session, RSI 29.34 oversold; S&P -0.84% session, RSI 36.19) and oil is down sharply (-3.79% session, -7.4% 24h).

HOLD^CAC

Price 8406.06 remains above the 8380 trailing stop set last cycle (0.95x 1h ATR of room) and above 1h SMA20/50 (8376.29/8373.88) and daily SMA50/200 (8309.32/8179.21), so the uptrend thesis is intact. VIX at 19.22 has actually eased slightly from the 19.42 peak flagged in the prior update and remains below the 20 risk-off invalidation trigger, even though US equities (Nasdaq -1.83% session, RSI 32.75; S&P -0.94% session, RSI 41.5) and oil (-3.75% session) are showing a broader risk-off impulse. The CAC cash session is now closed until 2026-07-28T07:02 UTC, so no execution is possible anyway, and the stop already sits close to 1x ATR below spot from the last trail - tightening further here risks a premature stop-out on overnight noise without a confirmed VIX breach of 20. Keeping stop 8380 / target 8550 unchanged.

UPDATE^CAC

VIX has spiked +10.2% intraday to 19.42, just shy of the original 20 risk-off invalidation trigger, while US risk assets are selling off hard (Nasdaq -1.75% session, RSI 28.3 oversold; S&P -0.89% session, RSI 39.9) and oil is down -3.36% session/-6.9% 24h — a broad risk-off impulse building that hasn't yet hit the CAC (still -0.43% session, price 8406 above 1h SMA20/50 ~8376/8374). Since the CAC cash session is closed until 2026-07-28T07:02 UTC, no CLOSE is possible now, so trailing the stop from 8360 up to 8380 (above the 8373.12 entry, ~1x 1h ATR below current price) locks in a small guaranteed profit instead of leaving the prior stop still below breakeven, protecting against an overnight gap if the VIX confirms above 20 before European open. Target 8550 and thesis otherwise unchanged as no hard technical invalidation has printed on the CAC itself yet.

UPDATE^CAC

VIX has spiked +13% intraday to 19.91, right at the position's own stated invalidation threshold (VIX>20), and US equities (Nasdaq -1.40% session, oversold RSI 28.5) plus crude (-2.86% session/-6.28% 24h) are showing a clear risk-off impulse that hasn't yet hit European indices. Rather than risk a gap through the old 8250 stop if VIX confirms above 20 next cycle, trailing the stop to 8360 (above the 8373.12 entry, ~2.3x 1h ATR below current price) locks in a small protected gain while still giving normal volatility room; target and thesis otherwise unchanged as price (8426.13) remains above 1h/daily SMAs and no hard invalidation has printed yet.

HOLD^CAC

Thesis intact: price 8442.92 remains well above the 8373.12 entry and far clear of the 8250 stop (6.63x 1h ATR, 2.29% distance), holding above 1h SMA20/50 (8357.41/8368.95) and daily SMA50/200 (8300.95/8176.77). VIX at 17.75 stays well below the 20 risk-off trigger despite a marginal +0.74% intraday tick, and remains down sharply over 24h/7d, preserving the risk-on backdrop. 1h RSI at 65.49 shows continued but not extreme bullish momentum. Position is at +0.56R with risk bounded at 0.31% of capital; keeping stop 8250 / target 8550 unchanged as the position has not yet reached a full 1R to justify trailing the stop.

HOLD^CAC

Thesis intact: price 8454.33 continues to extend above the 8373.12 entry, comfortably clear of the 8250 stop (6.8x 1h ATR, 2.42% distance) and above 1h SMA20/50 (8353.16/8367.17) and daily SMA50/200 (8300.95/8176.77). VIX 17.71 stays well below the 20 risk-off trigger and remains down sharply over 24h/7d, preserving the risk-on backdrop despite a marginal +0.51% intraday tick. RSI 1h at 68.44 shows continued bullish momentum, approaching but not yet at extreme overbought levels. Position is at +0.65R with risk bounded at 0.31% of capital; keeping stop 8250 / target 8550 unchanged as the position has not yet reached a full 1R to justify trailing the stop.

HOLD^CAC

Thesis remains intact: price 8439.87 continues to extend well above the 8373 entry and the 8250 stop (6.18x 1h ATR, 2.25% distance), holding above 1h SMA20/50 (8347.59/8364.83) and daily SMA50/200 (8300.95/8176.77). VIX at 17.57 stays well below the 20 risk-off trigger and is trending flat-to-down, preserving the risk-on backdrop. 1h RSI at 66.8 shows continued bullish momentum without extreme exhaustion. Position is at +0.54R with risk still bounded at 0.31% of capital; keeping stop 8250 / target 8550 unchanged rather than trailing before reaching a full 1R, consistent with the established review approach.

HOLD^CAC

Thesis intact: price 8431.78 continues to extend above the 8373 entry, well clear of the 8250 stop (5.7x 1h ATR, 2.16% distance) and above 1h SMA20/50 (8343.52/8362.42) and daily SMA50/200 (8300.95/8176.77). VIX 17.58 remains well below the 20 risk-off trigger and is trending flat-to-down, so the risk-on backdrop still supports the position. RSI 1h at 64.72 shows bullish momentum without extreme exhaustion; position is at +0.47R with risk bounded at 0.31% of capital. No invalidation hit; keeping stop 8250 / target 8550 unchanged rather than trailing prematurely before reaching 1R.
